• We run P4, P5, P7/S1 and U/15 teams at our Club and most of all - IT'S ALL ABOUT FUN!  Boys and Girls of any standard are most welcome.

• We have SRU accredited coaches taking our sessions (a requirement under the SRU's regulations to ensure the safety of your children).

• Your Child's safety in mind - Broughton have their very own SRU qualified Child Protection Officer in Grant Hutchison.

• NO expensive joining fees.

• All you need is boots/trainers (dependent on the weather), a mouthguard, t-shirt & shorts/tracksuit bottoms.

1. Remember Children are involved for their Enjoyment - NOT YOURS

2. Encourage your Child to always PLAY BY THE RULES

3. Teach your Child that HONEST EFFORT is as important as any VICTORY so the result of the Game is accepted without undue disappointment

4. Turn Defeat into Victory by helping your child work towards Skill Improvement and Good Sportsmanship
NEVER RIDICULE OR YELL ABUSE AT YOUR CHILD FOR MAKING A MISTAKE OR LOSING A GAME

5. Remember that Children learn best by example
APPLAUD GOOD PLAY BY YOUR TEAM AND BY MEMBERS OF THE OPPOSING TEAM

6. DO NOT PUBLICLY QUESTION THE REFEREES JUDGEMENT AND HIS/HER HONESTY

7. SUPPORT ALL EFFORTS TO REMOVE VERBAL AND PHYSICAL ABUSE FROM CHILDREN'S RUGBY FOOTBALL

8. Recognise the value and Importance of Volunteer Coaches.
