The Tigers enjoyed a great day at Forrester with
our hosts providing excellent opposition as always.
Our P7/6 team performed very well, despite the loss of four of our stalwarts to
camp. Reeling from a 0-3 deficit they fought back to square the fixture at
3-3.
The Skehel brothers Jack & Harry had a try scoring bonanza with 2 for Jack and
1 for Harry. It was great to see Jack back to his ferocious tackling best after
his bone breaking exploits.
Both sides found the newly extended 'don't target the ball' law difficult to
adjust to and there will have to be some concentration on this over the next few
weeks.
The P5/4 team saw the superb performances from Jordan, Steven, Grant, Euan and
Andy. We saw running, passing, tackling and tries at both ends as both teams
enjoyed attacking rugby. Andy Herbert's cornerflagging tackle near the end
brought the house down - well done Andy!
We hope all the players enjoyed themselves. As always we are very keen to extend
our numbers - bring some of your friends down!
